Irridescent Ocean Blue Makeup

I’ve been diggin’ all things blue for a few weeks and this look is further proof of that. I just got this month’s BoxyCharm in the mail, featuring Youtube Beauty Influencer LarLarlee’s Party Animal palette. 6 brightly colored eyeshadows in a compact packaging (mirror included!) and I knew I had to play in this thing. 2 of the shadows are in the blue family… so obviously that’s what I reached for first.

EYES : Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate, Laura Lee Party Animal palette (Damage Control, Karaoke), Juvia’s Place Masquerade palette (Zola, Giza, Dahia), NYX Cosmetics Glitter in Crytal, L.A. Girl Cosmetics Gel Liner Pencil in Blue Lagoon, Eylure Lashesย  in Marquise, Wander Beauty Unleashed Mascara

After applying a slightly irridescent white shadow on the first half of the lid, I decided to add a bit of sparkle. The look was beautiful without it, but I had some time to kill and once I think about using glitter, there’s really no turning back. I only added a small amount on the eye just as the white meets up with the baby blue shimmer. In the sunlight it was a gorgeous amount of shimmer without being distracting.

FACE : Becca Cosmetics Backlight Priming Filter, Smashbox Cosmetics Pore Refining Primer, Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Maple, Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define in C12, ELF Cosmetics High Definition Undereye Setting Powder, Pur Cosmetics Sculptor (Inventor), Makeup Revolution Blush in New Rules, Naked Cosmetics Holographic Highlighter palette
LIPS : BareMinerals Liquid Lipstick in Om

    1. Thanks, I like playing with colors on the oppsite sides the color wheel. They pop more in person, it’s an unexpected way to use colors you normally wouldn’t. Hope you stick around to see what else I have planned !
